Kadynce is 2 months old!

While everyone else was simply celebrating New Year's last week, we had one more thing to celebrate around here - Kadynce's 2 month birthday!  She went to the doctor this week and is growing quite well.  She now weighs 12 lbs. 12 oz. and is 24 1/4 in. long.  The doctor seemed pleased with her growth.  She's already off the charts for height, just like her big brother - Elijah; we'll see if she keeps that up!  She still has a head full of dark hair - only a strip in the back has worn off!  The top that is growing in seems to be coming in dark.  She might have her daddy's hair afterall!!!  Her neck muscles are a bit tight - she favors the right side (probably means she was tilted that way in the womb) - and her head is a bit flat on that side.  Therefore, we have some exercises to work on with her - she's not too fond of them.  Of course, she'll also be doing more tummy time!  That's not one of her favorite activities either.  She really only enjoys eating, sleeping and being held.  Her newest accomplishment has been smiling and cooing - esp. in response to those around her.  It is the sweetest thing when she "talks" to you and smiles...every morning, I put her on the changing table and say, "Kadynce Joy!"  I always get the biggest grin.  What a wonderful day to start the day!  Here's a recent photo of Kadynce and our niece, Caylin (8 1/2 months), on Christmas Eve...
